Carmen is a certified Co-Active and ICF coach and qualified mindfulness teacher, who supports motivated human beings in the journey of rediscovering their inner beauty, strength and potential. She has a Master Degree in Organization and Leadership, and worked for more than 10 years in the business sector in global companies as Coca-Cola and LEGO Group, assuming various roles. Studying, working and living in different parts of the world, being sometimes away from family and life-long friends, needing to adapt fast to new situations and to face different challenges, she understood that there is no better place and time to be happy and enjoy life than here and now. She discovered and started to practice yoga and meditation in 2007 when she felt she needed more balance in her life. After years of self-discovery, inquiries, paying attention and being aware of the connection between mind and body, life events and emotions, she realized that life is an adventure that can be lived fully if approached in a mindful way.
She trained to become an MBSR teacher in USA, Spain and Austria, with Florence Meleo-Meyer, Saki Santorelli, Judson Brewer and Rob Smith from Oasis Institute, Center for Mindfulness from University of Massachusetts Medical Center and also with Potential Project for working with mindfulness in organizations.Loving to work with people, she also followed courses in Positive Psychology and Coaching with Compassion, and deepened her education internationally with Coaching Training Institute from USA, becoming a certified coach.
She teaches MBSR courses, facilitates mindfulness courses, workshops and retreats for private people, organizations, leaders, and students. She combines mindfulness and coaching in 1:1 sessions and also in group sessions.
She is living in Denmark, and works locally in Denmark and internationally, teaching and coaching in English.
